About us

Hello everyone! My name is Rhose, and I am the proud founder of KC&D Soap Shop. KC&D Soap Shop is a small, home-based family business located in the charming town of Carlyle, Saskatchewan, Canada. The name of our business is inspired by the initials of my two daughters. What began as a hobby, making Goat Milk Cold Processed Soap in small batches, quickly grew into something more. I initially shared my handmade soaps with family, co-workers, and friends, and their positive feedback encouraged me to take the next step. In the spring of 2018, I started participating in small craft shows, offering a variety of Goat Milk Soaps. By the summer of 2018, inspired by my daughters’ love for bath bombs, I began making those as well. That fall, I joined my first major tradeshow, “Homespun,” in Carlyle, SK, and soon after, I expanded to tradeshows in nearby towns. This journey has been incredibly fulfilling, allowing me to share the benefits of handmade bath products with my family and meet wonderful people along the way. I love connecting with customers and vendors, as it gives me the chance to personally explain the benefits of our handmade products. In 2019, I took a break from the business to welcome our newest son. When the pandemic hit in 2020, I began collaborating with other small handmade business owners in Saskatchewan. Since then, our business has continued to grow, with my family helping with packaging, labeling, and deliveries. My kids contribute great ideas for bath bombs and assist in selling our products at craft shows. All our products are handmade in small batches, with bath arts hand-painted by me. We use sustainable ingredients sourced from Canadian suppliers. From my family to yours, we extend our heartfelt thanks for supporting our small family business and for championing local and small businesses! Thank you for being a part of our journey!
