About us

Hello everyone my name is Rhose and I am the founder of KC&D Soap Shop.
KC&D Soap Shop is a small home- based family business in the small town of Carlyle, Saskatchewan Canada. The name of the business came from the name of my 2 daughters initials combined.
I started this as a hobby with only making Goat Milk Cold Processed Soap, all handmade in a small batch and gave away my samples to my family, co-workers and friends.
After getting positive feedback things took off from there. I then, started to join small craft shows in the spring of 2018 by only offering variety of Goat Milk Soaps.
While in the summer of 2018 I started making bath bombs as my daughters loves bath bombs a lot. In the Fall of 2018 I joined my first big tradeshow "Homespun" in town of Carlyle, SK and shortly after that I went to all the tradeshows in the nearby towns. This inspired me to do what I love to do. Aside from giving my family the benefit of using handmade bath products this gave me opportunity to meet different people in different places. I love to meet and chat with different customers and vendors, where it is much easier in person to describe and tell the benefits of your own handmade products with people you meet.
In 2019 I had to take a break from the soap business as we welcomed our newest son. In 2020 when the pandemic hit, that’s where I started to collaborate with other small handmade business owners in Saskatchewan. Over time, the business has grown from where we started, and even up until now my family helps me with packaging, labelling and deliveries.
My kids give me great ideas when making bath bombs and they also help me sell our products in the craft shows we attend. All our products are handmade in small batches, all bath arts are hand painted by me and all our sustainable ingredients come from Canadian suppliers. From me and my family, we thank all our customers for supporting our small family business and thank you for supporting local and small businesses!
